Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy provides intervention to help people to do the things they need or want to do in their daily life. These activities are referred to as 'occupations' and are the focus of therapy and goals. A child's skills and development can have an impact on how they participate in any occupation. Common areas we address:

Individual Therapy
We offer ongoing occupational therapy services to suit the needs of the child and family. We work with children aged 1 to 10-years.
Services can be accessed through: NDIS (self- or plan-managed), Medicare, or Privately.
Car Safety
We offer assessment and recommendations for safe car travel. Cheri is qualified through MACA to prescribe car travel equipment such as harnesses and Special Purpose Car Seats.

Assessments
We offer a range of assessments, this will be a part of ongoing therapy or if your child needs a "one-off" assessment. This could be to gain access to NDIS, a Functional Capacity Assessment, or to assess development, skills, or investigate a concern.
