Cheri has extensive experience in mentoring a variety of like-minded OT's from university students all the way to experienced therapists. She uses a relationship-based model to foster meaningful learning. Additionally, Cheri also has experience as a Team Leader & supporting a multidisciplinary team.

At Learn & Grow OT we make a differentiation between Supervision & Mentoring. Although most workplaces may use these terms interchangeably.
Supervision:
process by which the supervisor is responsible for the supervisee's performance, ensuring they meet job expectations.
Mentoring:
process by which a relationship is established that involves a degree of intellectual & emotional connection between the mentor & mentee. This relationship is nonauthoritarian & reciprocal in nature.
